Why do some people argue that men and women can’t be just friends?

From my experience, I’ve got some great male friends and only a few times has it turned out that we ended up interested in more.

No that's 100% false I have a lot of friends that are girls and as we started our friendship I had to make a choice become girlfriend boyfriend or remain friends LOL

No matter what you have clarity come to you and you have to be honest with yourself and you think okay I really like her I really want to get in her pants but then you have to stop and think about it and say but how long will the relationship last are you really meant to be with each other are you compatible and if you answer no then you have to let it go and you value your friendship more than you value having sex or you know what I mean I'll be above but anyway that's how I became friends with most of the girls that I know because I have to be honest with myself I need a relationship if we had one would not last because we were not compatible in that way we're compatible as friends but that's it and we became good good friends I mean for lots of years we are still friends more people should do that there would be less divorce
