Throwing kids out at age 18-17 is a thing only observed in Western Europe and North America and Australia. Rest of the world, you stay with parents. They grow old, you take care of them and when they pass on you keep preserving the legacy.

That's how Indians and South Asians got a foothold in those countries,😂.

I mean if you throw your kids out at 18, it means they start from Zero every time.
If you don't throw them out and they are part of the home, they accumulate greater levels of wealth

After 18, their kid should be doing something productive. If in college, they can continue to keep home as their residence, but as soon as they can get and hold a meaningful job, able to take care of themselves, they should consider moving out. If the parents need to help by kicking them out, that's fine.

Yeah its pretty messed up to do that especially if the kid is still in high-school. My parents did that and we're laughing at me saying shit like I hope you struggle on your own because at the time I had nothing. Pretty dumb because it was there job to prepare me for life yet didn't do that

If it happens due to circumstances then nothing can be done but knowingly pushing children into such circumstances is wrong.
Or if the children grow up and do not work hard on their own then that is also wrong.
