I am so disgusted. When will we get our justice?

We had my sister involuntary committed, we were waiting around for the court hearing and they canceled it.

My sister worked in mental health as a therapist so she knows how the system goes.

But she got out. And she's very spiteful, manipulative. My nephew was worried she was gonna off herself. He missed 3 days of work for it. She was sending him messages that she didn't have the will to live anymore and how she can't go on.

Now my sister is coming after my mom on FB making posts about her.

I disowned her as my sister cause she isn't getting the help she needs.


I don't know i hope she doesn't appeal that involuntary commitment saying we lied. We didn't lie. She is unstable.


I will NEVER help someone again who doesn't want to be helped.

She said she never said that and made my nephew write a note to my mom saying that the text messages were fake of her wanting to kill herself.


Im so done with her. Am I wrong for disowning her as my sister?

She has 2 theft charges, a criminal mischief charge and recently got a possession of marijuana charge.

Possession of marijuana? What idiot state still has time to prosecute people for weed? Your sister needs psychological help obviously but she has to seek it herself. The state, county, city, etc can't just institutionalize people anymore unless they are a clear threat to others. They don't have a budget for that kind of stuff anymore. The only thing you can do is encourage her to help herself.
