What's your ideal age to have children?

As, in early on or when you are more mature?

My wife and I had children when she was around 27-28 and I was 23-24, which in my opinion is ideal because we'll be in our forties when they'll be adults, accounting for the hypothetical fourth child she wants in the near future.

My mother had children extremely young (15-16) and while she says sometimes it was nice to be still young when we grew up, if she could she wouldn't have children so early because she wasn't mature enough to be a mother and it did cause us issues.

Conversely, my cousin is expecting at age 37 and while she feels more than ready, she feels it's a bit late and hopes she can keep up with the child growing up.

I had my kids at 18,19, 25,26 and 27. Probably will have my last in my 30s. For me these ages have been good. I prefer having my kids young so I can spend more time with them

It truly depends on the state of mind from the (parents) you want a child to have a farther and a mother. (not both genders at the same time) There is a balance in life for that child, a male role model and a tough love giver, balances out with a soft handed mother who loves and cares for the child. When the child understands and can see the loves he gets from both they are able to understand the world better. If you do not but kid glove the whole life till they have to enter the world or work force you have failed as a parent. Cause now they are going to be around so many new things they have never had to deal with before. Such a workplace violence. Does not have to be fight fighting its more of a high school never ended for them thing. Always pushing and talking bad about the other guy (this week) and the Oh! that girl I'm going land that. If you have prevent your kids from having to be forced into. Not knowing how to deal with it. They will be bulled and depressed will kick in and all sorta stuff will be happening. So, teach your kids how to deal with the world before the world teaches them for you. So to answer your question. IS THE MOM able to raise and support them, is the dad going to stay? The questions are hard but if the mom is only 15 likely so is the dad. The mom has to mature fast cause of the new role in life. While the dad really does not have to. UNTILL the baby is in his hands. If he stays that long. So, the later life i would say is the best. For the best outcome

When I was married, we had our first child when I was 26 and my wife was 23. I was 30 and 31 when my next two boys were born. Honestly, I think that is right about the right age. You are young enough to deal with the lack of sleep. I can see waiting a bit longer, maybe the early 30's to try and have more money saved up. But really, that was never happening with us anyway. I am now 56. My oldest is about to turn 30 and the other 2 are 26 and 25. They are doing their own things, even if they do live with me. I don't have to deal with young kids at my age. The whole "I want them on their own before I turn 60" was the point of having kids early, and I achieved that.

Once you are established and can financially take care of the children as well as mentally. That usually seems to be around 25-30 for many people, but personally for me, I'm still trying to get established so if I don't get established and be married by 35, I don't think I will have any children.
