when i told my male friend i couldl not join him for a drink because i had promised a friend to have dinner with him he asked me whose house we were going back to after dinner his or mine? first of all i felt the question was none of his buiness but why?

One, your male friend needs to respect you have plans with someone else.
Two, do you two typically spend time together at eachothers houses nightly? If so, your friend may expect you to get together AFTER your dinner with this other person you're having dinner with.

If you do NOT want to spend time with your male friend afterward, you have every right to inform him you are busy and can hangout another day instead, since you already have plans set for dinner with another person.

no i dont spend time at his house he meant back at my house or my dinner date which is true its none of his business
