My sister has caused me a lot of hurt, and I feel like she never gets any consequences really for it. I feel like my parents don't do anything about it, even though she is so unkind. I always wanted to do music, and become a musician, song writer, and I would often practice piano, but then my sister started being really unkind and prideful by telling me how great she was at it, and how she could play it so much faster. I would mess up while playing, and she would just come along and start showing off.
Eventually it got to a point where it just hurt and I stopped playing or even pursuing that dream of music. Now, she plays, now my parents are building her a music studio and everything while I feel hurt thinking "this was my dream, and here she is being supported even though she treated me like trash". It does hurt a lot if I'm being honest, and I try to not let it bother me but it does. She will do her hair, get high heels, or whatever and walk around with a look and attitude like she's better then everyone. The way she looks at me like she thinks I'm just trash and she's so pretty, and she just I feel like she gets away with it. It hurts to feel bad because of my sister, the one who's supposed to be my best friend. She puts me down for the mistakes I make, acting like she's perfect because she hasn't made the same mistakes as me, yet she doesn't know what I've gone through.
She makes me feel bad because I'm just weaker, because I'm a girl and that's just how I am, and she likes to make fun of me for not being able to lift such heavy things. She rolls her eyes at me all the time, when I try to talk to her, she tells me "I'm busy" or just ignores me. When I mess up on something, she laughs at me, and I'm just done. There's a lot more, but that's some of it. What should I do? How should I learn to not care or deal with this? How do I learn to not let her behavior affect me?
