Is it weird that my parents prefer I call them by their first names?

My parents actually prefer that I call them by their first names, so that's what I've done since I was a kid. They said using mom and dad didn't make sense to them because they don't just call me son.

The important thing is that you have a good relationship with them, even if the dynamic is a little different. As long as you feel loved and supported, who cares what you call them, right? It's their preference and if it works for your family, then that's all that matters.

I don't think it's necessarily "weird," it's just unique to your situation. Most kids don't have that experience, but if it feels natural to you, then roll with it. No need to overthink it too much. Just focus on enjoying that parental bond, regardless of what you call them.
