What is your opinion on children calling their parents by their first names?

Do you find it rude and disrespectful or perfectly fine? Would you allow your child (ren) to call you by your first name or would you simply prefer being addressed as mom/dad? What is your view on parents that allow it? Should the concept be normalized or no? And as adult, do you call your parents by their first name or still address them as mom/dad? And how would you feel or react if your child started calling you by your first name, would you be upset or not really care too much?

Ever since I was able to speak I would call my mom by sometimes by her first name and sometimes I'll call her mom or mommy. Growing up people would question my mom and tell her that "a child should not call a parent by their first name" and "your child shouldn't even know your name". Now me and my mother even though we argue and have disagreements I'm very close to my mom (close to the point when my mother gets older I would want her to live with me and her grandkids so she can be closer to them). And my mother has no issue with it, in fact my mother approves of it. And recently, I've noticed some of the children even the teenagers at my church as well as my mom's friends kids calling the parents by their first name also. They still call them mom and dad, but they'll also call them by their first name sometimes.
