How do you handle family drama, and do you think it's better to address it or avoid it?

I just recently had to block my Mom on facebook. She went insane. She was fine at first and then started fighting with my sisters. One sister blocked her. Mom bitched me over about it so bad that I even begged her to make friends with her again. She just got worse and worse. I think she went full retard or something. Had to block her too and I think the other sister blocked her. She got that bad. Like, not even joking.

The resolution differs with what the drama actually is , as there is drama and there is " major drama " certainly address it , don't let it simmer , things will only get worse in that case.

Talking it out is always best as long as everyone involved can keep it respectful. Cursing and insults should never be used.

If a respectful discussion cannot be had then it is best to avoid it.

Toxicity is not healthy and should be kept out your life as much as possible.

I have broken ties with 95% of them. I had more in common with my next door neighbor out than them.
My one remaining living parent is all I care about and she is no drama at all.

Family drama is one of the perks of being in a family. Enjoy it. Family drama is much better than many other things family members can get involved with.

People need to know when to disengage. Sadly, many people bring drama onto themselves.

Step 1 is establishing rules to limit drama. When you not incontrol… address it. Else accept it and stay out if it and let them know.

I avoid it. It’s better to address it if you can, but I still live under my parents roof so I don’t want to fight with them.
