I wasn't really present when it started. My mom and I had just arrived from our errands and happened to see the altercation of when he (my 20 year-old twin brother Brian) shoved my father to the ground with all his might. Our father literally lost his balance and during the fall, two legs of a small cedar table broke.
Ironically, he gets along with my mother, me and everyone else. It's just with our father he's been having screaming matches, been very rude but this was the first he ever got physical with him. My father doesn't want to speak with him at this moment, has thrown him out and he was heard crying in private. He admitted to us (in private) that he's now officially scared of my brother and how he can't get out of his mind the hateful, scary (in his own words my brother looked like an enraged demon) expression. My brother has recently grown 2 inches taller than our dad, weights a bit more than him, is stronger now and has been in Judo for 4 years.
According to my father, my brother started the whole argument, started throwing tantrums, screaming, then was coming towards him. My dad was like ''what are you doing, Brian stop, stope'' and it happened. Why would a loving son do that? When it was over, my father opened the door and told him to get out and closed it. My father is now thinking of filing charges.
