I have schizophrenia. Will my friends judge me for this?

Yes people do judge. I get judged for all kinds of things but I have to live my life in the best way I can. I don't think other people can 100% understand what my life is like anyway. I have to stay true to myself and do what I think is best and if other people look down on me for that then I'll just ignore it. In the end I have to live with my choices so I'd rather make choices that I fully believe in. Like how much do you work what kind of job do you have etc. People will judge you for that. But you have to find a situation where you feel you can handle the amount of stress and the workload. Otherwise you're just making yourself suffer for other peoples approval but they won't suddenly treat you amazingly when you work more they'll just see that as normal. So it's better to prioritize your needs in my opinion. You get used to the judgement, it doesn't really affect my life you meet other people in similar positions and it's fine. Sometimes there's some awkward situations but to me it reflects more on the person that's judging you than anything. They don't know shit about me so why would I value what they think?

Hard to say, depends on how accepting and open minded your friends are.
I personally always have been curious about what its like, what you experience, etc.

I also have schizophrenia and I would open up to them about it if you feel like you can trust them with it. My friends know and were very accepting and open-minded about it. But only if you feel like they won't judge you for it. Use good discernment. These are your friends. You should know. Let your discernment guide you.

So they understand me a little better and why I’m not working
