Our neighbors always bring us food so we made a turkey dinner for them and brought it over to them. Well it's been like a week and my aunt wants her plates back. Should I ask for them back?

Of course you should ask them back. When you gave the turkey for them to enjoy, it did not mean that they could enjoy your plate as well.
Simply tell them that you are missing that plate and that you need it for another dish. I don't see why it should be a problem. It is not as if the turkey dinner present should have included the plate for them to keep.
They may simply have forgotten to give it back. That should not be a big deal for them to return what is yours.
Somehow I read this as 'Should I ask the neighbours for my panties back?' That would hhave been a much more interesting question to explore
Something similar happened to me, they asked me to borrow a pressure cooker and they still haven't returned it 😭
