my dad is an addict who was very irresponsible. just selfish and neglectful. he put me in too many dangerous situations as a child.

my mom was very abusive growing up and her having NPD didn't help. she also married someone new who was worse. i rated her higher bc she at least did some basic things like teaching me stuff, would do chores, and occasionally she cared. if it made her look better then she'd spend whatever money or effort on me
