How much do you pay rent and car payment per month?

I work a normal warehosue job get paid $1200 or $1400 on overtime every 2 wks.

I plan get a ride job delivering food 2-3 days a wk for extra cash.

i now will begin paying monthly a used new car $380 but my insurance will be high $200 a month.

So I’ll have one whole check free $1k to save but I want move out to a studio and not live with parents as I’ll be 28. And that’ll be $1k and which means I’ll have only $400 free for myself a month unless I get a side job which will give me about $1k free a month for saving or a trip or shopping etc.

If I get a boyfriend that splits the rent I would not need work extra and so hard but never had a guy ask me to live together with him. So I have to take care of mylsef 😔

My monthly mortgage is about $1160 and with escrow for property taxes and home owner's insurance it's $1585. That's for our 1600 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on 30 acres that we bought in 2002.
My wife and my cars are paid for. I have a 2010 Rav4 Limited, 6 cyl, 4WD. She has 2012 Kia Soul.

Rent $2750 in Seattle for a two bedroom flat (about 1000 square feet or 100 square meters) with indoor parking. We have a 2020 Honda CR-V that is paid off. Insurance is about $75/month, gas about $50 unless we take a road trip.

I am a software developer for a well-known tech company (FAANG). We are paid well. Starting salaries are above $100K. I have a friend grossing half a million as an individual contributor.

Pretty much your only option now if you want a car with those other things if find a family friend with a junker and buy it off them for a couple thousand bucks. If that's not an option you're shit out of luck.

Cars are paid off, costs about $80/mo for insurance. Mortgage utilities cost $4800 (we live north of Seattle).

I don't know how other people get by.
