For me, it's where I grew up. Nowhere else I've lived really felt like home.

It’s less of a place and more so a person, my son. Anywhere is home if it’s where he is. No house has ever felt like a home because there’s no stability. Even my “house” now isn’t mine and I could be evicted at any given moment, so it’s not much of a home.
home is where my heart is...
my heart is where my people is
and right now... we're mostly in Mexico because Americans are bit too crabby at the moment, lol...
but yes, I am currently at one of the houses in which I grew up too, on the Mexico side, and this one feels more like home than any other, because it was also the most welcoming... a very very good sense of community down here
My country, my state, my city. With increasing importance.
When I think about home. I picture a place where you feel familiar, comforted and at peace. That's why so many call certain neighbourhood or country as their home rather than their actual home because those places are associated with some positive feelings or memories. So, they feel they belong there.

It's both at my family's place where I grew up and where I live now.
They do.
It is where I am now. It took 30 years to find paradise, but I finally found it.
honestly idkk
the area i lived at when i was with my mom and step-dad. it feels kinda like it bc thats where i lived the longest as a kid (the house doesn't tho). before that i moved a lot and it always felt temporary
One block outside of Philly in Bensalem 15 years ago. That place doesn't exist anymore and everyone i knew and loved from then is dead.
It really sucks. I had so many awesome friends and we lived were we are from. I still celebrate Philly far from it. And if you watch sports most of us do. There are so many Philadelpians that dont live in aphilly that an away game could be a home game. We live everywhere but home.
Thats how most Americans are I've learned. The rest of the world joke about it but I see lots of merit in staying close to your roots. In the friends dying part it hasn't happened yet. Tell your people that you love them now. When you hit 43 you stop answering the phone because its about someone else dying. The only reward for a long life is a lonely funeral. I've been to so many funerals there won't be anyone left to attend mine.
Unfortunately I guess, I'm old enough to have been through that. My grandparents have been gone for a long time. My dad died 8 years ago and my mom died over 23 years ago. My aunt on my mom's side died 4 years ago. And my aunt on my dad's side died I can't remember when I have my sister who I'm close with and my brother who I don't speak to.
My mother went crazy when I was in my early 20's and ran away. I hardly seen her after 16. She had a drinking problem and I had better things to do. I still talked to her. Back to the early 20's she just packed her shot up and moved away. Didn't tell anyone where or why. My buddy that lived with her for 2 years came back from war in Iraq and wanted to see her. He used some contacts and found her in Florida. I had been married amd had her first Grand daughter since. We went down to see her and she threw an empty wine bottle at me for no reason and paraded around the house with my wife and 1.5 year old daughter buck naked. I left in the morning and didn't talk to her again for 8 years. I went home for thanks giving 8 years later and she was there (at this point she was a ward to my older Brother) we made nice she met my second daughter. Then 2 months later she had a catastrophic stroke. Died a year later. I am relieved that we had that one holiday to make nice. We didn't reconcile because we just spent time together. Had we not had that time it would have haunted me for the rest of my life. Whatever happened to you and your brother. Unless it is worse than assault with a wine battle and parading around the house naked around you, your wife, and your child... call him and... make contact. You dont have to make right. Just make contact.
There was nothing really horrible with my brother. Or maybe I'm minimizing it, I don't know. I'm the middle child with my brother 3 years older and my sister 3 years younger. I don't know whether to call it SA or not, maybe it was just normal kids being kids. In any case, he was just a nightmare for our family. Always in trouble with somebody, school, police, employers. He moved out when I was about 13 or 14 and we've really had very little contact since then. It's not like I hate him, I just don't have a single good memory of him. I honestly have not that many memories of him at all other than drama and chaos. He still lives within 30 miles of me. My sister, moved into my mom's place after parents got divorced and she got a new place. She talks to him occasionally, but I really don't have any interest. That's probably bad, but that's the way I feel. I don't wish him any ill will, I just don't feel anything at all. I think I may have a problem with, I don't know, dealing with people. I have also cut off contact with my uncle, my mom's brother. We had a good or at least fair relationship for a while until my parents divorced. My mom was going through a really rough time and didn't have a place to stay so she ended up staying in a friend's basement apartment for a while. She couldn't get a loan because she didn't earn enough. My uncle "offered" to lend her money, with interest! Which really doesn't sit well with me at all. He used to be a semi big shot at Chrysler and made more money than the rest of the family combined. Maybe I don't value money enough, but if I had it I would have simply given it to her. I gave my sister a decent amount of money when she was going through tough times. I just despise greedy people.
My parents house
I’m still there. I live with them when I’m not at college.
It's were my family is.
My country, province, city, neighbourhood and dwelling.
Yes.
