I'm not a homeowner so I never really see the homes I stay in as my house. So other than my stuff being in the home & memories being formed in the home, I don't really see much connection between me & the home.
I think I'm pretty adaptable , so I don't think the actual house matters too much , I've built over 25 of them , but only have now 2 , neither of which I live in..
I think it's people ( if you have them ) maybe pets ( if you have ) and a few special items , but not junk and sht , thaea things don't matter.
To me, home is a sanctuary where you feel safe, protected from the outside world, and can truly relax and be yourself without judgment.
I’d say my bed, pillows, and blankets. 😂
That and my desk. Put these in any place and I’d never know the difference. Lmao

My wife and I had this house built over 25 years ago. We have added on to it and we have made a lot of improvements. We raised a family here and every inch of this house holds a memory. It has been a lot of hard work but we have so much of ourselves into this house that it is part of who we are.
Everything is in the right place and simultaneously everybody sees eye to eye regarding everything.
Subsequently then is that house unified no matter what people think about your lifestyle. Thinking about somebody’s lifestyle and the rest of the people within that household, doesn’t necessarily mean they know the actual facts.
As George Carlin (RIP) used to say, ...
Home is where you keep your stuff.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/4x_QkGPCL18A family... An empty home no matter how beautiful and cozy it is looks kinda depressing.
I refer to ''home'' as the place where I sleep and where I keep my clothing.
My true home is in my head - and so the physical 'home' is just a descriptive term to me - not a ''feeling''.
@lucyvoid I'm with you, I never feel REALLY at home unless I have a companion animal. Oliver died two years ago at 18 years and 6 months... he was a feline... and my fur baby
It's the feeling of safety, comfort, and belonging, uniquely shaped by personal connections and cherished possessions.

Just all the stuff that's here - my creature comforts

living with your family that’s the best life to me and if you can have a wife, that’s great
My cat lying next to the aquarium when im late getting home from work.
the smell tbh, if I move it takes a while for a place to start smelling like me if that makes sense and until that point it doesn't feel right.
Having my wife with me. Doesn't matter where I am, home is where she is.
Comfy, safe, musical instruments everywehere.
Its privacy, and having the things as I want them to be.
Memories. But I'm from EE and here many homes came from parents to kids.
