How many chance would you give to a good friend before you cut them off?

See, people make mistakes and sometimes they're going to disappoint is how I see it but whether I should stay or cut off- depends on what kind of mistakes they made. Whether these are little mistakes or these are big ones. Also, if they break my trust, it's over because I used to be so forgiving, and gave chance after chance... It made me realise people will take you for granted if they think you're going to forgive and still keep them in your life.

If someone broke your trust or disrespected you- I'd say cut that friend out of your life. Something tells me you've already given them a chance/benefit of doubt before. I'm sorry if they are causing you stress or wonder whether you could trust them.

Truly depends. I've given one friend another chance when they said a slur, after I told them that what they said wasn't cool and that they should never say it (It was a slur that some people don't realize is a slur, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But if they don't actually listen and learn that what they said was problematic, I'd drop them.)

I immediately dropped a different friend when I found out they were a massive creep. I'll never forget or forgive that friend if they did something irredeemable.
