Yes, but only if it’s a genuine friendship. That’s so rare though. More often than not, at least one person is holding out hope that the friendship will develop into something more. The moment you recognize it, you have to cut it off. If you’re the one who wants more, you have to either take your shot or break off the “friendship” for your own self respect. If you’re the one who thinks your pal wants more, you have to break it off out of respect for them. Otherwise, whether the intended asks for it or not, there becomes an imbalance in the relationship. One in which one person holds more power over the other and can, intentionally or unintentionally, take advantage of someone who is meant to be their friend. It creates resentments, which destroy all manner of relationships. Better to end it with respect and mutual understanding than to let it grow bitter and possibly vindictive.

Well that's up to you. For me I have more girls that I'm friends with. I don't have a lot of guys friends but I hang more with girls that are friends with

I don't think age has got much to do with it. You are a teenager, and the guys you are around are probably teenagers too. I mean if you happen to get along with some guys at school, just be thankful for that. Who knows, by the time you are 18, maybe you will be in love with one them.
