Is it bad that I spend every weekend with my best friend? My family says they complain that I never see them anymore and I’m always going over there?

I’ve been going there every weekend four months after my mother passed away. I used to go over spending the night once in a while and now it’s every weekend. I know they really love having me over at their house. My best friend mom says I make her so happy when I come over more often. I’ve spent five weekends over there. Last month on the four of July, they were like, “It’s about time you came to hang with us. You’re always with your friend every weekend. Don’t you get tired of it? You can say no.”
I told her we’ll my bestie is lonely an has no other friends and they abandoned her. They don’t really ask me what I’m doing over the weekends anymore since I got there every weekend for now one. I mean I keep telling them it depends what I have going on but we never have a lot going on so I end up over there. My cousin said that’s great that I’m spending a lot of time with my best friend and good to try new things and get out of the house. Most besties spend a lot of weekends together. She said I’m always sitting at home every weekend so it’s good that I’m getting out more. Try new things and spend more time with the people that’s been there for me since day one.

Sometimes I just need a weekend to myself after a busy week and I don’t need to be around people 24/7. I wish they asked me what I’m doing over the weekend instead to telling me or assuming that I’m coming over. My dad said I can do what I want and it’s good that I’m getting out of the house and not just sit in the house all the time because I’m always in the house not getting out trying new things but he misses having me at home sometimes. He said, “It wouldn’t hurt having you gone for one weekend.”
Everyone always nags at me that I sit in the house all the time. I do get out but I want to be at my own house on weekends sometimes. My friend and her mom have all the next weekends planned so I’m going to be over for the next four weekends. I work 42 hours a week! I need me time!

I told them I can’t be here every weekend but she said, “Of course you can! Best friends spend most every weekend together unless they have children and other commitments. You don’t even do much. Plus you don’t have to sit in the house all the damn time. Get out and spend time with us.”
My family is complaining that I don’t see them or hang with them anymore. Nobody asked to hang out anymore. My other friends complain I’m always over there.
