What I mean is, men are attracted to curves because those curves Indicate biological stamina and balance while carrying a child in their bodies.

They like certain physical features be cause it indicates ample and easy access to milk for their babies.

They are attracted to certain vocal pitches because people with certain types of voices are less likely to cheat on their partner and this was confirmed in laboratory tests that there was a connection.

Mother Nature built males to select a healthy and fertile female mate who can have and raise his children.

Mother Nature also built females to select a healthy male who can impregnate her, support her, and help her raise their children.

In the past 100 years, we humans seem to have forgotten this.

No. Men really can't afford to be that choosy when it comes to looks, they just have to take what's available. We also know culture plays a big part with men around the world finding different physical characteristics attractive.

What men find attractive is motherly traits, things that indicate she'll act as agood mother to his kids rather than her potential fecundity.

Unfortunately the only guide guys have is their own mother, if she did a good job raising him then a women like mother must be a good choice.

No. I believe they are genetically wired to find certain kinds of people attractive, and mentally develop at a young age whatever kind of specific type of that people group they like most. Usually by observing their parents relationship, others around them, and any relationships and people in media.

So obviously culture has the biggest impact, but there's room for subversion. That's why most people like the idea of a certain ideal body type, but in practice there are plenty of people who actually prefer a different look. Usually because of the people in their life who they felt very positive towards, so they mentally associate the features those people had with their good traits. This could be a curvy woman being a good mother and partner, or it could be something else.

There may be an element of chemistry involved, but as for basing things solely on physique doesn't necessarily ring true, you see people of all different builds with people of all different configurations, no two couples are ever the same! People like different things in a partner!

The instinct to like a curvy fit physique is encoded genetically. As for the voice preference, it hasn’t been shown to be genetic but rather a learned trait. So some traits are encoded genetically. Depends on which ones you’re talking about.
