You don't need a reason to not have kids.

If you want kids, if you'll care for them and do your best to raise them well (no matter what they look like), then no I don't think you should let them potentially being "ugly" stop you.

But if you just don't want kids, or if you won't care for them if they look a certain way, then yes it's best that you just not have them.
