My kids or myself I've already lost my parents about a month apart never really new my dad and the last four years of my mom's life she moved in with me and her last 18 months of her life was the hardest job I have ever had

I really wish I new then what I know now . If you really want to see your mom in a different light visit her more often and become her friend the same time your her daughter.

After my mom past I had to go through all of her paper work her bill the history of her life and the things I learned about her was amazing .

We grow up thinking that's mom that's all I new.

But she was so much more than just a mom what a beautiful person and the strength within blows me away and the things she did for others un real just so amazing and what she gave up in life so others could have and never ever complained or padded herself on the back

I lost one of my best friends, my brother in law, colleagues, all grand parents and my dad. My god mother too and aunts and uncles too. But one of the hardest was my dog. I know that is lame but it was ME who made it happen and that burden is heck of a weight on my shoulders.

Honestly, the person I’m most afraid to lose is myself.

Not in a dramatic way, just in the sense of staying grounded, staying true to who I am, and not letting life pull me too far from my own values.

People come and go, even the ones we love.

But losing your sense of self that’s the one loss that really changes everything.

I don't mean to sound all philosophical and stuff (like usual) but I am not "afraid" to lose anyone. I know it is just a cycle of life and in my own beliefs I never really 'lose' anyone. Sometimes I just can't see them. Don't get me wrong, I know it can hurt so, so hard, I mean I even cry at dead frogs in the road sometimes. But I am never afraid. 💖
