How much do you need space and when... from your close friends or family? When did you ask for some space from someone last?

The last time I needed serious space from someone was 2 weeks ago. An incident of immature and shocking behavior.

Depends on attitude a lot like you said. Ill sit beside my friends and family through hell and be good with it as long as we both are actively trying to escape the hell together. Soon as our energy doesn't align im not going to ask for space im going to take actions to make space. Sometimes it is as simple as asking for space, in my experience its normally a lot more complicated then just asking...

What really matters is understanding why we need that space. Fixing them and fixing ourselves aren't always so different, unfortunately lol. Space helps me see that a lot of the time. 🙃

I do enjoy y solitude. In many ways i am a lone wolf type i suppose. Any relationship would have to include a discussion about this trait and how we would deal with it.

I can't be with then 24/7. I have never asked for space, but make sure I'm never going to be stuck with them for long periods of time.

From my wife? Never, from every one else, all the goddamn time. From my mom, I haven't seen her since I was 16, because I needed space from her.
