Simple math: if parents have two children, then it means mother takes care of 2 children. Father takes care of of 2 children + the mom.

Which means:
mom: 2
dad: 3 (and perhaps other adults)

Also…. Wives take care of their men too. Even in traditional relationships sone right. The woman cooked cleaned and took care of the home. Especially before modern consciences she worked equally as hard as he did if not harder in some cases.
