We had a kitty named Rosie that I rescued from the middle of a busy highway when she was about 5 weeks old. The turned into the best kitty ever and lived almost exactly 22 years. We kept her indoors to keep her safe and our home became her domain.
She invented games like tag.
When she was crouched down, we could pat her firmly a couple times on her haunch and run away. She would look furious, chase us and tackle our ankle with no claws. When we turned, she would run back to the starting point as we chased her, then stop, crouch down, and we would pat her again. We would go back and forth playing tag, you're it, until she got tired. Then we would pet her.
Sometimes she would stand up with her front paws hugging the corner of a wall and give me crazy eyes. I would pretend to be scared, run away, and she would chase me in circles through the two openings between our kitchen and living room.
At some point I would hide around the corner and jump out when she came around after me. Then she would run and I would chase her. When I stopped, she would come looking for me stealthily and I would run when I saw her.
The funniest game was when she would be sitting minding her own business and I would sneak up and slowly peek over the top something like the back of the sofa.
When she noticed me, she would crouch in pouncing position with her ears flattened sideways and her eyes laser focused.
As soon as she saw me I would duck down quickly, then rise up slowly until our eyes met. Then I would quickly duck down again, pretending like I was hiding and stalking or spying on her.
Each time I rose up, she would have crept closer silently.
After about three times, I would raise my head and we would be eye ball to eye ball and she would have that killer expression on her face.
One time, the minute I raised my head, we were nose to nose and she whacked me on the side of the head with her paw, no claws. Tag!
She really surprised me. I almost died laughing. Then I held her in my lap and she purred while I petted her.
She was our girl. Such a sweet, gentle kitty but she loved those games on occasion.
When our dog was a puppy, we put him in front of our bedroom mirror a couple times. That damn dog would eventually go into our bedroom, jump up on our bed and look at himself in the mirror for hours! My wife said he's just like me.

I don't recall much about Dixie, Pert or Pudge because I wasn't around them for very long and Fluff didn't do much of anything that was funny, that I recall
Zippy got her name because she would do this really funny zipping around in the yard if you pretended to chase her. We'd be in the back yard and then suddenly, I'd jump into a kind of attack position facing her and she'd spot this and quickly get into her zipping position: her ass would be up in the air because she was standing on her hind legs but, her front half would be posed like The Sphinx! Her chest and chin would be on the ground facing me with her front legs stretched out straight in front of her! I'd slowly start moving towards her and if I either made a sudden jump towards her or got to a certain distance from her, she'd go zipping around in bizarre patterns in the yard running so fast and making such sharp turns you wouldn't think it was possible for an animal to run that fast!! I'm SURE she could EASILY out-paced a cheetah!! Then, after a minute or two of this she'd stop dead and get back into her zipping position and I'd move towards her again and, she'd go zipping all over the yard again!
Sammi was our next dog and she loved to sleep on her back in a very modest position with her legs wide open! We had a fireplace in the living room and would burn it in the winter. She loved laying in front of it just beyond the hearth. One night, I'm in the living room watching t. v. and she's sound asleep huddled up in front of the fireplace. I'm not 100% sure what happened but, I suspect the wood popped and a spark flew out and landed on her ass. Either that or she was having a dream that really scared the hell out of her!! But, she's sound asleep, dead to the world and then, all of a sudden, she ZIPS CLEAR ACROSS the first floor and up to the 2nd floor in LITERALLY 2 or 3 seconds flat!! That's about a 50' run from dead asleep to upstairs in no more than 3 seconds!!
Our next dog was Murphy but, I don't recall anything funny that she did except that she would, sometimes, like to sleep on her back, too.
Sammi and Murphy were both in love with me. I'd go out front and sit on the porch at the top of the front steps and if someone inside let her out front to see me, she'd run right up behind me, both her tail AND her head wagging and she'd push her nose under my arm and eventually plop her ass down on the porch right next to mine and lean into me and there'd I'd be with my right arm draped over the shoulders of my girlfriend!!
My real girlfriend eventually had 3 dogs. Gina was a rather big dog and seemed to be front heavy because, she'd keep trying to leap up with her front end but could only go about 3". As soon as I'd walk in the front door at her place, Gina would start barking her head off and then run circles of love around me for a good 15:00! If my girlfriend tried to get near me for a hug and kiss, Gina wouldn't let her! She was SO excited to see me because I was the only one that'd play ball with her the whole time I was there! She was a used (and abused) dog. Her previous master used to beat the shit out of her for no reason, we were told. One night, we took her for a walk about 2 blocks from the house and, there, lying in the gutter, she found a flat, dead rat, picked it up and started chewing it and REFUSED to let go of it or let us take it from her!! Eventually, she did but, I don't recall how we got it from her.
My girlfriend got another dog, Rusty to keep Gina company while she was at the library studying every day.
Although he wanted to play ball with us, Gina thought she was there completely alone and would just run right over Rusty like a freight train, as if he wasn't even there so, he tended to just sit in a corner while we played ball.
Eventually, Gina died and was replaced with another dog, Nikki, slightly smaller than Rusty but, they still didn't have much of a companionship. Nikki was also madly in love with me and would raise a ruckus every time I came over!! If I sat down somewhere she'd be barking her praises at me and jumping all over the place and then she'd wrap her front arms around my leg and start humping me like she was a boy dog and even came on my pants a few times!! I told my girlfriend that I wished real girls would do that!
I had two cats I got from the shelter. They used to chase each other around the house. The older one pretended he did not like the younger one but he really loved him.

My girl 😍 kitty cat had a potty sand box in the house.
She also had a huge yard and could have gone potty out there in nature. It was on a green belt owned by the government - plenty of trees, grass, etc
But she would stand in front of the front door crying to get in. She had to use her potty sand box.
She was such a lady!!
Every time I come home from work my little dog carl who is part chihuahua and part pug with all the sassiness of a chihuahua. anyway every time I come home from work he starts barking and going nuts until I put my hand on his head and go you have been touched my child.
Like I'm the freaking pope blessing a kid or something it's so ridiculous. One of the many goofy and weird things that gremlin does.
Our senior cat had a young friend with whom he sported around through the gardens. They climbed up a tree, but only the young cat had learned how to climb down again. So I had to get a ladder and pluck Mr. Senior out of the tree. 🙄
I had a pet rat that would steal my mail if I left it out for too long.

Little fucker
