Is it ever okay for young kids to curse at family members?

That is not okay from anyone. It's not the words that were used, it's the abuse. Children who say things like that are probably getting the same from their parents.

I don't have much problem when a child says "fuck!" when something is not going well. But if my child was verbally abusive to another person, we would have a discussion. Fortunately my child was quite intelligent, and they were able to empathize with others, so a discussion was enough.

No, but remember, kids are like sponges. They absorb their environment. Not saying it's right, but those children may be around adults who use profanity and use derogatory terms to describe others.

lol no, they should not curse. It's rude, but kids always learn to curse from there parents. That's why me and my husband have been working on not cussing so our daughter won't curse
