I live on one of the Great Lakes. Weather is iffy this time of year. It can be 50° and 80° the next.

Yeah, we are used to the crazy climate. We’ve had near 80° before Christmas and another year 4 feet of snow in 36 hours. You just never know living this close to a huge lake that causes all sorts of weird weather.

My parents get to use it. I don’t much because of school. I went down for spring break and that might be it for the year.

I have summer job and weather here is perfect in summer up here. Rest of the year, I have to be at school.

Biology. Then post grad for physician assistant. Still have 4 years or so left.

My mom has been celebrating Mother’s Day in heaven with God 😇for nine years now. And my evil stepmom has been celebrating Mother’s Day down in hell with the devil for four years now. 👹I can only wish my mom a happy Mother's Day now I wish my stepmom nothing.

She's dead. Thankfully... and I wouldn't take her anywhere. My sisters were probably pretty wise not to give me some of her ashes... I would've pissed on it... maybe shit a little. That woman was such a bitch. Don't get me wrong, both my sisters hate her just as much as me... but they're not as vindictive as myself.

My mother is 95 years old and walks slowly with a walker. Taking her into a busy restaurant today would be a horribly bad plan with predictable results. My brother and I, my nephew, and our partners all took her to a late lunch at the Olive Garden (her choice) at 2:00 pm, when the restaurant was relatively empty. She had as good a time as you can have at 95.

I don't celebrate that, I don't like that people try to commercialise everything to make money, including Valentine's day.
I was going to a funeral once, happened to be on Valentine's day. I walked into the florists and asked for a simple bunch of flowers for a funeral. The wouldn't serve me, too busy preparing orders for Valentine's day for which they'll sell at three times the price.

Thanks @jennz6, my life hasn’t been the same ever since, my mom was a big part of my life and without her it hasn’t been easy. I have lost a lot of loved ones’ through the years , but losing my Mom hit me the hardest, I don’t think i will ever get over losing my Mom. So many things remind me of her and my mom had a very beautiful heart , my brothers’ and I were blessed to have her as our Mom , My Dad on the other hand is a different story and why she stayed with him for as long as she did was beyond me, I just feel she stayed for us. My Dad is in his 80’s and he is trying to keep the peace after he realized how much of a selfish asshole he was.
