How do you cope with family members who get mean when they drink?

This gets really old. I mean you can't do anything with these people. My brothers fiancé had a glass of wine and 10 minutes later she's already belittling me. She must have had more than that where I didn't see, but they'll just do a 180 in like 5 minutes. My brother will do the same thing, but at least he doesn't start putting me down like she does. She just turns all narcissistc and blames everything on me completely out of nowhere too.

My dad is kinda impossible to talk with after he drinks so i choose my peace and crawl back to my room.

Does he do the same thing where he starts some random argument out of the blue that makes no sense?

absolutely, he'd even start a topic about my field that he has no knowledge about and act like he knows everything and i dont even when i am a well qualified expert so, yeah he's kinda impossible there

It's kind of like boring people at a wedding. You seat them together, and everyone else has a good time.
