Because they are less interested in wasting with bullshit. Like drinking, doing drugs, and partying.

When guys get older they also want to feel more comfortable, so their life turns more cozy, reading a book in a blanket type of mentality.

Which before when they were younger they took more risk and were more worried about how people see them and what women think about them.

They stop caring about those things and focus on things that are going to improve their life.

Also, when a guy is older he is taken more seriously at a job and can move up the ladder quicker than women can.

Yes older men do have an advantage in the work place over women and younger men. It's mostly because a lot of employee have a wife, kids, etc and it's hard for them to take a 20 year old male boss seriously. It's unfair to qualified women, but that is going to happen unfortunately.

It's the same thing the NBA. You usually see the coach is past his prime and only cares about living comfortable and not focused on bring the NBA start like when he was younge

More people take them seriously and they have the wisdom too. It doesn't matter how smart and stronger you are if you don't have the wisdom to use those things properly you will have a rough time.

Beauty and better personalities and less baggage and negativity , and most younger girls’ look up to us as well , for the most part. As for Most older women , they carry a lot of baggage and negativity from their previous relationships and what she has experienced , so she projects her negativity on to her new partner for the most part , where younger girls’ don’t do that, they don’t really have that negative mindset and are more positive and happy in life , why I prefer younger girls’ nowadays , I like being with a girl that brings happiness and positivity into my life , not constant misery and negativity. My ex was 4 years older then me and she turned into a negative miserable person , always complaining and never satisfied with anything , starting arguments with me over the littlest things , she became very rude and disrespectful towards me like a flip of a switch , whether it was menopause or midlife crisis who knows , but the girl completely changed on me to the point I had to end it with her crazy ass , So I lean more towards younger girls’ because they are more positive and happy in life , that don’t bring constant negativity into mine and they have no problem keeping me satisfied in bed. So my next relationship is definitely going to be with a younger girl

Maturity. Protective instinct. When younger people are still figuring things out the older ones are on their way to stability if they haven't got it already. Also the power dynamic can be pretty thrilling I assume. Just looking at someone who has visible signs of aging immediately comes to mind that this person has more experience and probably some valuable wisdom to impart. If you are raised to respect older people you automatically have some level of respect for them, which can go up or down depending on your future interactions.

    The “safe bet” aspect
An older man is already established. If he was meant for success he’s already successful.
He’s dealt with the classic insecurities and childhood traumas that carry over from the teen years.

While a younger guy is a roll of the dice: will he be a big boss and make tons of money?
Will he be a deadbeat stoner who lives off of his woman’s earnings?
    Anything can happen.

And naturally the instant access to the perks of wealth is an undeniable appeal.
An old coworker of mine was a 23 year old girl. She started dating a rich guy in his 30s.
One morning she’s late for a big meeting, so he sends over a car with a diver to take her to work to make it in time.
Later that night she agrees to move in with him.

Some say she’s materialistic or a gold digger, but I knew her very well, it was never about “flaunting” the wealth.
She can’t be faulted for enjoying the caliber of attention though. Even I would have been swept off my feet if an older woman sent me a car to ensure I’m not late

My memories of Googling would be something like "older man, younger woman wife, more resources accumulated with time and energy"

A prime 25 year old woman picks the man with more to offer. The 20 year old male rental apartment dweller or the 30 year-old male with a farm and a ranch

    Lol.

Their fertility. That's about it. Evolution make us prefer the most promising way to create offspring. Younger women (in their late teens, early twenties) will be the most fertile so highest chance to have healthy offspring so that's what informs male preference.

Oh wait I got it the wrong way around. Older men are much more stable and reliable. Again the fertility thing. It's the most promising environment for bringing up offspring. So that's why it's attractive.

old men are also less likely to have healthy children. Old men are also less likely to be able to defend the family. That's why large age gaps don't tend to be common. You also don't need to be an old man in order to be financially stable. Plenty of financially stable 35 yr olds with great jobs out there.

@nastyb you're speaking about men in their 50s then. And yes that's true. But they are more stable economically and also less likely to cheat. So I'm assuming that's more important to those that do prefer it. Obviously not everyone prefers that.

How often do you see a 45 yr old man marrying a 25 yr old woman? Almost never

Most men marry in their 30s, for a reason. This is the time where their reproductive fitness is at its prime and also where men see first signs of financial stability.

As a man gets older, his ability to get a woman pregnant significantly decreases. His ability to father healthy children also decreases. It's been proven that kids born to old fathers tend to be at much higher risk of mental illness

@nastyb it doesn't decrease by a lot and we're not speaking about most people here, were speaking about the outliers so you can't apply the logic that applies to the majority cause the majority doesn't have large age gap relationships.

We are talking about science here. And no, it's not outliers. By 45, most men already suffer from erectile dysfunction to a certain extent. It only gets worse 50 and onwards. Don't tell me having kids get "easier" with erectile dysfunction

@nastyb so you're saying people dating with huge age gap aren't outliners? The percentage of men who can't procreate at all is not very high in their 50s and even risks for certain birth defects is slightly elevated but not even as high as women with 35. So there's no big issue from that aspect. And that's not science. That's just statistics every moron can read.

If it takes a 20 yr old man 5 tries to get a woman pregnant, it's gonna take 50 yr old man 20 tries to get a woman pregnant. Erectile dysfunction is a huge problem when it comes to a sperm reaching an egg. As a man Gets older, his ability to shoot sperm far enough to reach the egg grows weaker. His semen load becomes much smaller. His ability to maintain an erection and have sex becomes much shorter. All these things matter

Definitely not just slightly elevated risk of worse outcomes.. it's been proven kids born to old fathers tend to be at higher risk of mental illness and poor pregnancy outcomes. Take a look at baron Trump, people suspect He is autistic due to his odd behavior. Same for the youngest prince of Thailand whose father had him in his 50s.

Plus if you are an old father, you won't be able to even raise your child. You will be retired by the time your kid is 15. You likely won't be able to keep up with the stress of parenting either. That's a useless parent. It takes a complete moron to father a child with someone who is too old

If its significantly older then its a money thing for sure that makes them attractive as they desire the benefits to enjoy.

A young person is willing to be with another younger person if they are financially struggling but a young person is sure isn't going to be with a older person that is poor.

I mean if we remove the individual aspect of it then everything is socially pushed, and if everything is socially pushed then it's pure and simple conditioned tastes by the collective.
