Am I in trouble for telling a homeless man he could leave his truck at work?

I work at mcdonald's. This homeless man comes in, and says his truck broke down in the parking lot and asked if its okay if he leaves it there overnight. It was super busy. My manager was there, but none of the higher ups who we'd have to ask. I was gonna say to the guy "well, you're gonna have to if its broken down" but i just said that it should be okay. I said this because a couples car broke down in the parking lot before and the gm let them park there until they got it towed away. Also there is another guy camping out in the parking lot in his car in the parking lot for the whole 2 1/2 months I've been working there. I went in today to check my schedule and noticed the guys truck is still there. I'm afraid someone's gonna say something to him, and he's gonna say "well your employee said it was okay"
