You have to first ask yourself why is he ignoring you? So men chase women and let's be straight, men always chase women. When I say chase I mean show interest. By the time an average girl has left her home in the morning she has been stared at, approached, said hi to, at least 100 times. In our days of social media she's been messaged 100, 200, 300 times and ignores most of those men. Men on the other hand rarely get this kind of attention. Women are not obliged to acknowledge any of these types of advances which is completely fair but men get very annoyed as they see women only chase after men who play them and ignore them. They see them as a challenge in contrast to the thousands of others who pay them attention. So men see women subconsciously love the men they can't get and then become those kinds of men. Sorry, I should say that some men do but most men cannot, don't know how or don't have the physical capacity to behave in such a way. Yes, women are worshipped and men aren't subtle like women... They advance, they stare, they can't hide their emotions... This is great for the woman! Big ego trip, it's nice to get so much attention and sure, why not. Then comes that player, or the man who has been hurt or lets say an ethnic minority guy who wants to portray his anger on a particular race because of his ancestors misfortune and they're mean, rude and ignore girls knowing this hurts their ego and they chase after them in the end. It's all phycological, love is a game (unfortunately), love is a battlefield and very few men know how to play the game. Most women do because it seems women and money are always at the centre of attention in the world 🌎

I presume that you mean a person that you are interested romantically.

Personally, I am not interested in being romantic with a man (or a woman) and therefore, I would not text that person in order to attempt to get his attention.

The only times I do text a person is actually for business purposes when I am studying and need assistance or need to clear something up. Usually, there is no problem getting an answer back since it is not involving romance.

However, I think that if you text a person because you have intentions to deepen that relationship and that target person does not bother to text you back, then it is useless to insist for obvious reasons. Those would include:

1. He is not interested

2. Your text message could be misinterpreted by the recipient of the message

3. You don't want to come across as clingy

4. You should keep your dignity and not lower yourself to appear to be needy or begging

Whether it's a man woman friend brother sister it doesn't matter who it is they have the right to not want to answer you do you have the right to ignore you and you have the right to just say enough is enough and don't text them and show them who you are by walking away one day they will be back and then that's when you make a choice to just ignore it or give in and do what they want by texting them back it's not worth it
