Self parenting. You have in you everything good your dad has. Everything your mom had.

This is something many people forever struggle with. Facing it head on is better actually.

If you look at official "attachment style / unresolved trauma" statistics then 40% of world population are proven to have obviously strong traumas, with very obvious diagnosable impact.

If you take the jungian psychology route then 70 to 80% of the whole population is proven to walk around with a mother wound or father wound. That's including seemingly put together who can still easily suppress their laughter merely by thinking of their strict father.

If we do some speculation without explicit surveys and testing, then 99% of the whole world has unhealed mommy and daddy issues caused by merely running away from their own shadow.

100% all people who are "into obscenity" or "into soulmates" or self depreciating jokes have obvious mommy and daddy issues.

The smarter and the more someone values intellect over feelings the more ripped apart their heart is by their shadow.

What i am saying is. You are not alone. As much as people hide it, everyone is tormented. You are not any less than the person who is wrapped with apparent easy, they do not have it better.

You never will be alone in the true sense but in the time you are isolated, take it as an opportunity to be sad, really really try to be as sad as possible. Not scared sad but a calm sad.

The fear of being sad is 100% the only issue. Being sad isn't actually all that bad.

And then, you can make friends. Recognize that the majority of people have similar wounds as you and there is a way to be better. If you want, i can share what thinkers I studied when i felt really alone.

Sorry sweetheart but you can't choose who stays or goes, that's just life. What you can choose is how you spend the time you got. Your dad's still here and that's a blessing. So focus on that. Love him, take his love, make memories. And start building your own life too get a job, learn to stand on your own. Don't waste today worrying about tomorrow.
