Do you avoid answering calls from people who are always negative?

My uncle I've been dodging him and just sending him text every now and then saying hope you're doing well because whenever I'm on the phone with him he is absolutely draining. After months, I finally decided to pick up the phone. Boy do I regret it. Just a ball of negativity. I get people have struggles it's life but dude it's always something with him it's like he enjoys drama.

It depends if i see a light at the end of the tunnel. I can't imagine living life like that. Some people legitimately have a reason to gripe. But barring needing medication or something to right the ship, i'm a firm believer in life is about attitude. You cannot control what life throws at you, but you can control how you react to it and the attitude in which you meet it with. I like to help, that's why i'm here! But i can ONLY help with a word advice, encouragement, or a listening ear. I cannot actually do the necessary work for someone.

I have messages disabled on my phone and rarely give my number out to anyone, so that avoids the problem. As a general rule, I don't waste time on negative people, and I will call out those that are toxic and negative. This is one reason why the anon trolls on here love me so much. lol
