I don't know. On one side I'd be disappointed if she didn't tell her myself and I found out by chance or through someone else. On the other side, if it's something she really thought through and wants to do, I'll support her. But the vast majority of people doing OF don't make much money and throw their reputation out if the window for not much in return. If I ever have kids, I just want them to trust me and ask me for guidance and then whatever the decision is I'll try to support them to be happy.

I'd be disappointed and worried that she was setting herself up for a huge fall later in life by wasting her prime years on easy money rather than getting her life and career on track. But I'm certainly not disowning her or anything. As others have noted here, if she's an adult, she gets to choose her path. Like it or not, I cannot control her choices.

I would feel like I failed her as her dad. That I did not instill enough virtue and morals in a Christian home in her. That maybe I myself did not live the talk enough for her to have a genuine fear of God. it would break my heart and I would never support it. I would pray for her salvation and return to Jesus.
