My dad broke my finger in a fight after I spat at him—what now?

On the 4th August, I had a big fight with my dad. He came home annoyed and pissed, and started yelling at me calling me names. I had a migraine so I got pissed and called him names back. He then threatened to beat me up and I spat in his face. He hit me three times and broke my finger. It will take 6 weeks to heal.

I hate him and I hope he dies soon.

I read your replies as to why you don’t want to leave your mom’s side , so the best thing for you to do is try to control your temper towards your Dad as much as possible , even if he says something hurtful towards you , just ignore it and walk away , you should of called the cops on his ass for breaking
Your finger and attacking you , so next time he does that , call the cops and have his ass arrested for abuse and file a PFA on his ass , He will still be mandated by the court to pay the bills , he just won’t be able to live there anymore until you lift the PFA off of him , just because the house is in his name , he will still be removed from the home. Do not allow your Dad to lay fingers on you ever again

Then she filed a PFA on me and I wasn’t allowed to go back to my home or I would of went back to jail

It doesn't matter if you have no job and take care of your mom, you still need to call the cops and get out. If your brother is also fighting your father than your home environment is violent and toxic. No, normal father-daughter relationship should ever become a yelling match and then a physical fight. No loving father would use his physical strength to hit her multiple times and break his daughter's fingers (literally bones) in retaliation to getting spat on.

Neither you nor your brother are safe. In the future, try not to fight a man. They're generally stronger than us and can hurt us badly if they retaliate. That's bad for your safety. Next time it can be worse.
