What’s a fair daily rate to pay my friend for watching my dog?

So break it down I'm in the middle of a messy break up and crash at my friend will say zennas house paying rent and what not but I need someone to watch my dog during the day until I have her trained not to bark when left alone

So my other friend Zach said she will watch her while I'm at work and told me I can just pay her whatever I can afford which I do want to compensate her I'm asking a lot especially since it has to be at Zach's house since I don't have my own place and I have to walk there because I don't have a car anymore.

But I also only make 16 an hour what do you think is a reasonable amount I can pay her for letting my dog hangout with her for 8 hours?

Other than not wanting to be locked up and alone she is well behaved she will pretty much just lay down and sleep she's 13 years old so she isn't really interested in busting out Windows or nothing.

If the dog care is more than 20 days, pay $10 a day. If it is less than 14 days, pay $15-20 a day. Or do not pay cash, pay with free home cooked meals and gifts. My dad’s friend is retired and he will lose his social security if he earns too much so he volunteers at restaurants in exchange for free food instead of getting cash. That way he gets repaid without having to declare income. And he wants to play sports but cannot afford a membership so he volunteers at the sports centre in exchange for free user privileges there.
