My Ex Is Stalking Me Via Mutual Friends??

Found out that my ex has been asking mutual friends about me behind my back. She may have created an alternate Facebook account to stalk me or is using someone else's to stalk me. She knew that I had transferred to another university but she asked a friend of mine which it was. Therefore, she clearly had prior knowledge of my transferring (we went to the same college, but she moved away and transferred last year, while I transferred this year).

She's blocked me on Facebook, I don't remember her phone number or her e-mail and she's extremely unstable to begin with. What in the world do I do? I have no idea how long this has been going on or how many people she is getting info from.

How do you know that she's stalking you? I can't really answer without more information, such as how do you know she asked a friend, what makes you think her intention is actually to stalk you, what makes you think she made another account, etc.

spoke with a friend. she already had some information and has been making her rounds. this is also represents her typical emotional pattern. she messaged my friend asking only for info about me, talking about regret for fighting with me, etc. I have not spoken a word to her since April and she has knowledge of me that she wouldn't have had access to otherwise. I'm blocked on Facebook and we don't talk at all. there's a lot more to tell, but I only have so much space to type here.

I would advise talking to your mutual friends, and letting them know that you'd prefer them to give her as little information as possible. Also, set your Facebook account settings so that friends of friends can't see your profile, and be careful what you post. Other than that, I'm not sure what you can do about it. The situation is certainly disconcerting, but based on the information you've given, she isn't actually threatening you in any way. There there's not much more you can do.

Creepy! I guess all I can advise you to do is distance yourself from the friends blabbing to her, and don't post anything you don't want her to see on Facebook. You can never be too careful. :/

Not a problem. Wouldn't have given it to you if I didn't believe you deserved it. I have too much going on in my life to deal with her at the moment, so I'm just going to let her play her game at this point. If it gets worse, I may have to think of something. I'm in a happy relationship now and I have a lot going for me, so I'm just going to focus on that. Thanks for answering :)
