Girls' view on "friends with privileges"?

i know this sounds like a silly question. but like what do girls think about just being with a guy and not actually being his girlfriend?

I think the girl's view on this will depend on previous relationships with her. Friends with benefits typically happen between people have been in a relationship together at some point in time. It is very much less likely to happen with a girl you've just started seeing.

I have a friend who is in her first FWB benefits relationship with her ex (if you can really call that relationship). But being a virgin, she doesn't sleep with the guy. They occasionally make out, and they are together a lot. I don't think there is a problem with this. I think that she is strong enough to where she can handle it. As long as both of them understand that nothing more can come of it, and as long as both of them are single, then I see their relationship as more of a release for tension and frustration than anything else.

If a girl you're dating is looking for commitment, she probably won't hang around if she thinks that you're not going to commit. Most girls get jealous pretty easily, so if you're just playing the field, she probably won't like it. If you've just started seeing her, then she probably wants a boyfriend out of the deal - not a friend with benefits.

Friends with Benefits? If you're just looking for some fun and no attachment-then that usually works. Most girls don't know the meaning of no attachment though. Personally, I would rather spend my time building up friendships/relationships that will be more stable, life is too short to waste on people you don't intend on keeping around(which in a FWB case, those people don't stay in your life long term)

Ur right it sounds silly, but I'll answer anyway, haha... :) Well I think girlfriend/boyfriend isn't something that you can't get out of and something really serious, like marriage... So if a couple is seeing each other why can't they be grilfriend/boyfriend? unless there are no feelings at all for this person and ur jsut with him/her for sex... That's a WHOLE different story...

some girls just want the sex...other girls really like that guy and are wanting to be more but starting out as "friends with benefits" to try to make that guy want her...most ofthe time it doesn't work though...some girls are just stupid.

It will be quite difficult to draw any conclusions as nearly everyone seems to have a different definition for:

-friend

-boy/girlfriend

-love

-relationship

-dating

-making out

-having sex

Do you mean sex? I would never have sex with a guy unless he was my boyfriend but there are tons of girls out there who are up for FWB.

I was in the situation a few months ago, and I didn't like it at all. I fell in love with him, but he was a liar and only wanted the sexual part of a relationship. Now, I feel that if a guy won't commit to me, he isn't worth my time.
