He added me on Facebook first, we met a few times in group meetings, but he has a lot girl friends so we aren't close especially I'm new to the group.

Then I was a bit late to the gathering and appeared a bit embarrassed and when I got settled I saw him kinda smiling/ smirking at me. Then another time I was grouped with another guy to play a game and I saw him staring at me for a few seconds. Another day he's the staff of some concert and I came in and saw him, he immediately said hi and smiled friendly, any signs of interest here?

Church guys are hard to judge. You can't really go by the norm. I'd say that he is keeping his eyes on you because he is interested. When we like something, we naturally want to look at it.

I read your comments on others answers and I'd say that if you are catching him staring at you because YOU are staring at him...then yeah, he IS interested.

Don't get too excited though. You need to strike up actual conversations with him or wait for him to start conversations with you. If you two can't hold a conversation he is going to drift away quite quickly.

Also, one way to check and know for sure that he is into you is to catch his eyes and shoot him a smile. If he blush, looks away quickly or returns the smile you can be sure of his feelings. If his eyebrows furrow or he looks at you strangely, or the smile is only polite (you'll know the difference between a polite smile and a genuine one) then he isn't into you.

Actually the I stare him he stare me is more of the story of another guy, we stare, he goes shy aromf me and everything is becoming more and more weird, le he's calling out my name loud when we're playing pictionary:) the smile thing is a lot difficult for me because my face just straighten up everything I see him, but of he olds politely, does it mean he's not interested?

Don't take the politeness as a bad sign, not in this case. If he is shy around you and things feel a bit strange then I'd say that is a sign of his interest. His bousterous attitude a.k.a calling out your name in social settings is a huge tell of his interest. We you are one on one with him does he run his hands through his hair, or tug his shirt down or seem nervous/ unsure of himself? If so, he's got it bad.

I think he was justweird when we are alone, like facing himself to the wall when I pass him, he tried to be random and unpredictable when we're working as a group, maybe it's just his nature but he seemed to be extra confident and tried to act as a leader the last time we were in a group. When I approach him, he manly confronted me but didn't look at me straight at the first place, and was stammering cutelyit may be the way he express things, like walk walk walk, and he looked at miwaslikefrOzen

Yes, if you catch him looking at you so much then he is most likely interested. At the very least he wants to be friends with you, possibly he'd like to get to know you more.

That's kind of hard to understand... go with what you feel. If it seems like you guys catch each other staring pretty often then there's probably something going on. You've at least caught each others' interests.

I've stared him a few times already and sometimes he stare back sometimes he don't, and it's not like it's desperate or obvious. But I've caught him staring me first and he looked away immediately after I caught him. What does that mean?

I can't really explain / guess any more than I already have... you guys are looking at each other because you're curious and interested. If neither of you does anything more, nothing is going to happen. Act or don't... at this point you're just having staring contests. Who knows how he feels? Your guess is much better than mine.

Just go and talk to him. Maybe he likes you in a relationship way, maybe he just wants to be friends, maybe he was smiling at someeone behind you, maybe he;'s just a weirdo who smiles at everyone. Either way there's no harm at all in being friendly back to him and seeing what happens.
