I'm really good friend with this girl and we have talked about becoming more then friends in the past but she said she's not ready to yet she has some issues to work out before we do, she is sending me pics of her new haircut, is that a good sign. This may be a strange question but I need to know

You never really know unless you ask her and she's honest with you. But, her keeping in contact is a good thing. It means she wants to talk to you, update you, etc. But, it could be just for a friendship or it could mean more.

We live in deferent states, but she is coming down to spend time with me in a few months, I told her I want to take her out on a date when she is down and she said she would love that.
