My guy friend likes me but I don't like him back ,what do I do?

So me and this guy, we’ve known each other for a few years now. We’re pretty close and I love him dearly as a friend but honestly, I just don’t see him in a romantic way. In fact, I just don’t want to date anyone right now. I’m pretty sure he knows this too, that’s why he hasn’t asked me out or made a move, but it’s still kind of awkward/uncomfortable knowing that he likes me. And I value him as a friend so I don’t want to ruin/make things awkward by telling him upfront.

He hasn't told me that e liked me yet. He's told a few of my friend that he's close to.What do I do, do I pretend that everything is normal between us and keep mentioning how much of a good friend he is?

Just mention that this friend of yours has asked you on a date, and ask him what to say stating that you don't want to go as you have no intentions of dating a mate, but you don't want to hurt his feelings either. make sure you have someone in mind, because he will ask who, and what they said etc, so make sure your story is crack proof, because you don't want him realising its him your talking about,x
