Guy friend likes me but I don't like him

So today my best friend told me that he liked me, and I just asked him to give me some time to sort out my feelings and that I would tell him what I thought tomorrow. My other girl friends say that he wants to ask me out. I used to like him but not anymore. Please help!

FRIENDZONED! hahahaha sorry, but all of us guys have been there at one point in our life. Honestly, just be up front and nice about it and tell him you don't have the same type of romantic feelings. I'd advise you not to use the cliché term "like a brother to me"... we hate that, makes it even worse!

He will live, trust me. But I must say that it's possible that the friendship may die out over time. It's hard for some guys to keep being "friends" with someone they have feelings for. Good luck though.

Try to tell him in the nicest way that you're simply not ready for a relationship right now. However you say that, make sure to also include that you really value him as a friend, but can't see yourself in any sort of romantic relationship at the moment. After you tell him that, try to give him a few days to cool off, then take it from there. :)

I think you should try something now, honestly I think you should give it a chance because if he moves on its going be like wait he's found someone else . But unless you are okay and don't care just be honest with him you think ya are better as friends he will understand.
