High fives goodbye? still interested, or....?

So I saw my crush today st my job and haven't seen him in a while. I went over and said hi to him and his friend and my crush tells me about this bet his friend lost and now he has to wear all pink to a party as a consequence. I went along and helped them find a hat and teased his friend and chatted.

During the chat, I got lost and he explained that he failed to get with this girl he tried to go out with a while back and then hesitated and explained that it was last year around his birthday and it didn't work out and his friend just reminded him about it, so his friend has to wear pink. I pretend to let it go over my head but about a week or two ago, he got rejected by a girl and whined about it on fb using quotes.

Anyways, during the convo, he put the hat I put on his friend on my head, touched my shoulders a few times and then looked for me to high five me goodbye when he was leaving. (When we first started talking, we hugged then stopped because I'm not much of a hugger). I tried not to think much of it, but he kept touching my shoulder, saying my name to me a here and there and then high fived me. Is he still interested, or...?

well to be real I can't say rather he is still interested or not . I mean I can't really tell from just the way he was acting touching your shoulder and what not . if he gets rejected by girls now and then it would probably be nice to have a girl want him for once . it would probably make him feel good about himself . if you like him then let him know ! he either likes you like that or he don't . at least if you tell him you like him you won't have to wonder anymore if he likes you or not . just go for it

Additional info: he found out I had a crush on him and we started talking for a few weeks then suddenly it slowed down and he would visit my job and then I found out he was trying to get with someone else so he barely texted me/visit me and she rejected him, so I felt like he's wanting my attention again

well if he new you liked him and he tried to get with someone else then I wouldn't try getting with him he sounds like he just has you to make him feel better about himself . that's just my opinion I would find someone more into you . I'm sure you was better for him then the girl he was wanting to talk to that rejected him but that's what he gets for not seeing what he could have had with you
