I rejected him and so he got together with my best friend..?

He was my best friend but then he started liking me. I knew that he loved me a lot but I didn't know what to do. So when I told him that I have no feelings for him that way, he said that now there's no point in talking with me. I was really hurt but I didn't say anything.

And now its been 4 months and I got to know that he's been dating my best friend for almost 2 months. She knows that I rejected him and he loves me a lot, but still she isn't bothered about it. I think he's just passing his time but if I tell her, she might not think logically.

Should I tell her what I think? Any suggestions?

Or could I be wrong in thinking that he cannot love her in matter of 2 months.. Please give some advice, I don't want my best friend getting hurt.

A guy can easily get over a girl in a lot less than four months. If another girl shows interest in him, he might even be able to get over her immediately. If you haven't spoken to him since, how do you know he doesn't have feelings for her? 2 months sound like a long time for a rebound. Also, the fact is, she knows that you rejected him. So, it's not like there's a secret.

As for him cutting you off, different people handle rejection in different ways. Cutting someone off isn't necessarily a bad idea. There's short-term pain of course, but at least you're not constantly reminded about the rejection.

I would say leave them be, and be happy for them.

I get the feeling from what you've written that you're not entirely sure you're uninterested in him. Even if you have feelings for him, the opportunity's gone now, and, if you want to remain friends with that girl, you need to be happy for the two of them.

I only see this in two ways.

1. The guys an arse who selfishly got angry you rejected him and is trying to get back at you by dating one of your best friends. In which case just ignore him.

2. The guy was to desperate for a girlfriend and tried to get with any girl he could which in this case happened to be your best friend. In which case also just ignore him.

If your best friend didn't consider your feelings before dating him, are you so worried about him hurting her?
