Agreed. I never buy pants that don't have pockets. Pockets are a total must -- but then I don't wear skinny jeans.
Vintage girls don't have that problem. Vintage 1960s pants usually have pockets. And a lot of vintage dresses or skirts have pockets as well.
The struggle is real when you're going to the club. You gotta wear your purse all the time, can't leave it anywhere or someone will probably steal it. It makes it difficult to dance or even relax. It's so annoying. Where am I supposed to keep my phone and my keys?

Pocketless pants are awful... to some extent I might be tempted to argue tiny unusable pockets are worse, but even so, they are truly just horrible.
Pocket-less women clothes exist because women keep buying them.

I've heard that pants with small or nonexistent pockets are a deliberate choice by designers to make women buy purses and handbags. Truly it would not surprise me.
