STOP With The Stupid Diets

Well,hello everyone.

It's me again.

For the MyTake today, I got inspired by some under 18 years old girls that I've been seeing all week tasking questions on the site anonymously about diets they've seen online and what result they may have.

Many people don't like me, I get that and I couldn't care less, but this is something serious, so I would appriciate if you could leave the ridiculous offensive comments for another time.

I know that many of you are insecure about their bodies and want to desperately lose weight and do it fast.

I get you, you want results and you want them now.

But you need to understand that results that come quick, leave even quicker. It's how life and of course how body works.

I'm an athlete,I've said it before and some of you believe me while others no (again I don't care), the thing is that I've learnt since really young age what eating healthy and staying healthy is.

I'm see a doctor that is taking care of my diet and weight and every single week since middle school years, in order to stay slim but at the same time healthy.

I'm not a doctor myself,however would appriciate it if you could hear and actually take my advices on the topic...Or if you don't want to listen to me, visit someone with a degree not every person on the internet and can write whatever they want even if they haven't tried it themselves.

If you click on the world 'diet' online, they will appear MILLIONS of results, similar to...

"With this diet you'll loose 60lbs in a week!"

"Your waist will become tiny in 3 days"

"With *insert number here* calories per day, you'll have Giselle's body in just less than a month!"

All these bullsh*t may sound appealing but most of the times are pure lies.

Of course some of them if not all, may actually somehow work, but with what cost?

Losing extreme weight and completely destroying your body and metabolism.

Let me explain how this works a little as simple as possible...

Your body needs and burns (naturally, with breathing,walking,talking and etc) a specific number of calories per day. If you start eating much less calories than before, then your body starts as well burning less.

If you do diets like these, it's highly possible you'll end up like this :

Basically ,at some point you'll stop being able to eat more than a tiny number of calories, after you'll become anorexic.

Or like this :

Basically here, your body after extreme diets STOPS burning calories and you become obese.
Basically here, your body after extreme diets STOPS burning calories and you become obese.

In a while, I'll post on how to actually have a nice body without following these stupid shit.

For the time being...just avoid damaging your body.
