Why Tall Girls Should Feel Confident About Their Height

So first, I'm only 5ft so definitely not tall, but I wanted to make this for taller girls because I see a lot of short girls bashing taller women in order to make themselves more confident, and it actually does make some taller girls feel bad about themselves, which shouldn't happen...

An Israeli supermodel who's 5'8 and super beautiful!

1. Longer legs are sexy

I don't personally find women's legs sexy, but I can definitely see why people would find longer slender legs attractive. They look great with longer skirts/dresses as well as short ones. And something about it when they wear heels... it looks so natural but make their legs look even better!

2. Every outfit fits perfectly

Longer dresses fit amazingly on taller girls. When I try wearing a long dress, the end of it just ends up on the floor because I'm too short for it 😂🙈 but they also look great with shorter skirts that show off their legs more.

3. Most models are taller women

Do I have to explain this one? Lol. It's a great thing having a body similar to a model. I wish I could be like those really beautiful models.

4. Most men wouldn't actually reject you just because you're tall

Yes, a lot do prefer shorter women, but that doesn't mean there's no guys who prefer taller women or don't really care about height. You shouldn't ever feel like you can't get a date just because of your height (that goes to short guys here as well!). I've seen couples with a tall girl, and even a very tall girl. It's definitely possible for you to find love.

5. They can reach higher shelves

😂😂😂 I always struggle with reaching the higher shelves 😂 so you got a nice advantage right there lol

6. Women of all sizes are desired

As well as men, you could always see a woman of any size being desired. Sometimes it might seem rare (like when it comes to fat girls) but it exists. As for tall girls, it's definitely not rare. I've known a lot of guys who were into tall girls 🙂.

7. Being tall doesn't make you less feminine

You can be feminine and be 6ft. Adriana Lima (Victoria secret model) is 5'10 and has very beautiful and feminine face.

8. They're stronger

Short girls can be strong as well, but for tall girls it'd be much easier to pick up certain really heavy things and such. For me, I can't even pick up more than 10kg 😣 they just seem to do it much easier but they don't even look muscular or anything.

I have been tall everywhere i go, from press school all the way into adulthood, except for one year in Senior high where there was one guy who i took to below the chest, i was 6'4 so he was about 7 foot + and i felt intimidated. lol

As a 6'4 tall woman, I'd have to agree with you to some extent ALTHOUGH there are people who despise the tall community be it male or female. also there are some women look manly with the face or have a wider body that resembling a body builder's bulk be it skinny or with weight and such and that also makes people feel insecure and less feminine. Not every outfit looks good on tall people and finding say a dress that goes to your ankles without heels is difficult and depending on shoe size you can't find decent heels for the taller woman (where i am) also you get stared at like someone from out of space. (All of these are what i struggle with so i know)

Like you said not all guys want to date taller women or shorter women and not all women want to date shorter men or taller men. Thankfully i don't really care about my height and my husband is a head shorter to me and that is perfectly fine by us, he likes taller women and i like shorter men because it's not the height that we care about it is the love that we share

so with every pro there is a con

I don't like those kinds of assessments. If you aren't attracted to them then you don't relate. An intellectual assessment of things other people are attracted to is not appropriate.

Clothes can be tailored, the way things fit isn't relevant, it's more important how they "sit" on the body, which pertains more to shape and feature.

Models aren't an ideal. At the very least, they're not men's ideal. If you're into them then whatever, that just means they're you're ideal, but I don't see why that would be something to strive for.

True. Men definitely prefer shorter girls in general but they would also be receptive to approaches of a decent looking girl.

I also means they have to reach for things for other people too. It doesn't just make reaching for things easier, at the same time it adds to the workloads. So it's not a straight bonus.

I mean, it kinda does. It doesn't mean you're super masculine or anything but high-estrogen people tend to be smaller. It's slightly less feminine but not something worth stressing about a ton.

I guess, but they're also heavier. It's more work to pick them up and whatnot and that's less fun.

When I see an attractive woman who is short or of average height, I notice that she is attractive, but when I see a tall woman, even if she isn't attractive, I really get excited. All other things being equal, I would prefer to have a tall girlfriend.

Yeah she tried to get away with not serving in the army although it's illegal, so she got married at 18 to a parents's friend who's like 20 years older than her, so she wouldn't have to go to the army... she divorced him right after she got out of having to serve

I liked this take & especially appreciate it coming from someone who’s more or less on the opposite side of the spectrum haha
But the stronger thing is honestly a myth 😂 I’m 5’10” with plenty of tall girlfriends and we’re all pretty weak and actually annoyed by this stereotype because you’re always made to carry heavy things and I feel like people are less likely to offer you a hand even when they see you struggle with something heavy

I think it’s because our muscles are just more stretched out over our longer limbs, so in the end there isn’t much of a difference in terms of muscle power.. I actually noticed this a lot when comparing just the circumference/size of my arms and legs to shorter girls who quite often have “bigger” or more muscular arms and legs than I do because everything is a little more compact

My family is filled with tall women, my aunt in particular is 6'5 her husband is 6'4 and her songs are 6'7 and 6'6, so she found love (only an inch different though) My mum is also taller than my dad by a good 3 or 4 inches and yet they've been married 18 years, it's all a preference and people shouldn't be shamed for having a preference or not. Unless they use that preference to shame people that don't fit into that, but that's pretty rare.

It is positive thinking, but most guys don't go after taller girls simply because most all girls preach they want a man taller than them. It isn't that I don't find them attractive, its that it seems like a lost cause.

I don't really have a problem with dating short girls, but if I ever go in for a kiss or a hug, that's gonna ruin my neck and back. That's mostly why I prefer girls close to my height. It by no means is a deal breaker.
