Why it's Great To Be An Average Height Girl

People on this site are always talking crap about tall girls or short girls, but no one ever mentions the girls in the middle.

The average height for a woman in the US is 5"4. I'm 5" 6,so I'm not super tall or short. I'm in between.

1. You can reach most things easily

this is kind of obvious, but yes, being average height or slightly above allows you to reach most things. Not everything though. I still have to stretch to reach the top of a tall bookcase.

2. Nobody teases you for your height

You ever hear about a girl getting made fun of for being 5" 5? Nope. Being average height means that rude comments about height are nonexistent. Unless you live in a town full of giants...

3. We can pull off heels well

They make us somewhat taller, but not super tall. If someone shorter wore heels, they'd be up to average height at the tallest.

4.You look your age (most of the time)

Depending on face and clothes, most would assume your age and be right. In general, being shorter makes you look younger and being taller makes you look older.

5. Clothes shopping isn't a challenge

Unless you're fat like me, finding clothes for someone of average height (around small to medium and maybe extra large) isn't hard. It's easier to find sizes.

I agree. At 4'10 I be super jealous of average height women.
1. Shopping for groceries is a nightmare for me.
2. I get a lot of teasing for being short, annoying at times.
3. Despite what anyone says I pull off heels well.
4. I've had problems with this, even after showing my ID. I've even had cops arrive at a hotel room after someone called the cops on my man and I during a romantic getaway.
5. I have to admit I do a lot of clothes shopping in children's stores. I get stuff off the internet too. Sometimes I buy nice dresses and have them altered to fit.

I always thought I was on the tall side of average, but apparently, at 5’8”, I’m just tall. I guess I’ve been lucky to find plenty of men who are average or taller than average to date. It’s not something I ever put much thought into... I looked on CDC website which says the average woman is 5’5” and 168 lbs. Men are listed at 5’9”, but no weight was given. What does this say about society?

Scrap the word average. No two people are alike. Some guys don’t don’t like tall girls. Some don’t like short girls. Others don’t like the ones in the middle. Some guys don’t like girls at all. I say that’s all the more girls available for the guy sees the beauty and uniqueness in each individual girl.

As long as you're not taller in heels than I am in my shoes, I love your height !! I especially love 5'0 - 5'5" girls... They can wear any size heels and still have to lean up to kiss me !!! :)~
