Physical attractiveness— a 1-10 sliding scale. With photos.

So I want to try and settle once and for all, from a male perspective, in the most otherwise objective way possible (in my view), what constitutes physical attraction in men and women.

I will post photos from both sexes with a rating of facial attractiveness starting with 10 and go down from there.

So there we have it.

No need to guess what you are anymore, just reference the photos and pick the one most similar (imo anyway).

I don’t think these ratings are fixed and unchanging. I’m sure beauty tankards change, and people accept different things at different times. But none the less, right now this is how I perceive the scale.

For the girls I think the 6 should be at the top, to me she would be a 8 or 9/10 depending on how the rest of her looked, then the top one should be second, which I think looks like a 6 1/2 or 7 out of 10 depending on how the rest of her looks, and the one listed as 5/10 should be third. The rest aren't even attractive to me.
The 7/10 should be a 4/10 and the 8/10 should be a 3/10. The rest should be a bunch of 1 and 2.

The dude listed as 3/10 should be at the bottom. I don't know what happened to his nose but it looks comical, like the photo was edited. That is terrible if a person really looks that way.

I guess looks are highly subjective.

The truth is, a woman's peak value is based on her youth and beauty - it peaks around early to mid 20's. By 30 she has to compete with women much younger.

A man's SMV improves throughout is younger years 'till about mid-30's. And his financial wealth comes into play as well. For men, physique also has a greater role in their SMV than for a woman's.

Men age like fine wine. Women? More like milk.

Most people rate themselves a point or two higher than they actually are.
A severe mis-match in SMV for a couple never works out very well. One or the other is always thinking they chose poorly, or settled. Or they're not good enough and live in constant fear of someone poaching their mate.

Whatever the case, choose a woman that looks good to you, because you'll wake up to that mug for the rest of your days. She better look good even without makeup, or you'll be forever sorry.

They say beauty is skin deep. But ugly is to the bone. :)

The female one is fairly accurate except I think some should be switched. Like 5 is less attractive than 4. For the male one I think it’s less accurate. 10 looks too feminine. 9 should be at the top for sure wow. 6 and 5 should be above 7. 3 and 2 should switch.

The 6 female and 10 female should be swapped and I think the 8 guy should be the 10, the 10 guy 9, and the 9 guy 8. The 3 guy should be 1 and the 6 and 7 down and the 4 and 5 in 6 and 7's places.

Physical attractiveness is subjective and personality plays a factor in overall attraction.

personally think for girls the 5/10 is wayy less than a 5, more like a 4-3. the girl 7 is more like a 6 and the 8 is a 5. for guys the 7 is definitely not a 7 he's like a 5, looks worse than both the 5 & 6. the 3 is way uglier than the 2

The female 4 I find quite interesting. Looking just at her face... she is gorgeous. Sure... she's probably above weight a little bit... but I find that even more attractive. It would allow me to be a little more comfortable around her... I'm not perfect either. Also, if I may point out, if she were to drop a few pounds, she would climb to a high value very quickly. I understand... her weight brings down her score... but her face... she's foxy as #$%^!
