I think it's more like desperation. I mean a lot of times beautiful people get desperate too. and what you see is their desperation than beauty.

Im mot arab but i have a big nose like that. I dont give a damn if a man wants me he needs to love my nose. I have a body like emily ratajskowi and stick thin tall legs like twiggy.
Everyone needs to love me and accept me or else die
Why does this topic gain so much attention? If you like some feature then you like it, if you don’t then you don’t. What the f***k else do you need to know?
It'd a shame that people like you should are so blind to see how much beauty standards affect people's daily lives, especially those part of the younger generation. So it gains so much attention because of how relatable and real this topic is! So you need to watch you you're talking to like that, Ms. Anonymous.
I’m ugly with a genetic illness in fact, and have been told I’m ugly to my face many times. And some people even make an ‘eww’ face when they first lay their eyes on me. I attract unwanted attention because of my ugliness.
But instead of hating myself or the world, it’s become pretty obvious that we need to save ourselves. Save ourselves from the world, save ourselves from ourselves, even if the whole universe is dedicated to destroying us, because we simply have no other choice. And to save ourselves is to realize or acknowledge the obvious fact that we should not obsessive over our looks or somebody else’s looks because they would never loves us even if we are the most beautiful creature alive because all the positive attention they give to the beautiful is not love either. They simply don’t have love to give. Don’t ask someone to give us something they don’t have. But of course, very few are quite as ugly as me so very few are forced to realize this.
So having light and or pale skin isn't a beauty standards in say, East Asia? Having Big eyes and having a double eyelid surgery isn't something common in say, Asia? Getting rhinoplasty isn't something common in say, Asia? Really?
Therein lies the issue of how much having pale (light) skin is desired in Asia. That's why a lot of people bleach their skin. And a lot of people get surgery to fit into the Western beauty standards. People in South Korea get plastic surgery all the time. It's even not uncommon for teenagers to get plastic surgery.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and beauty standards are just either majority view or views of the coporations.
Beautiful I love you both.
Thanks sm

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You must be secure about yourself and not compare yourself to others
Everyone's beautiful the way they are!

Wow. Very Western-Centric of you.
What is that supposed to mean?
It means that all of those "standards" you listed go out the window in, say Asia.
So having light and or pale skin isn't a beauty standards in say, East Asia? Having Big eyes and having a double eyelid surgery isn't something common in say, Asia? Getting rhinoplasty isn't something common in say, Asia? Really?
Even something as common as "pale skin" is not common in all parts of Asia. And therein lies the problem.
